ok kids, this thread goes out to all those Moments Role playing or not, glitchs, and anything else that made you LOL and/or Rofl in Deus Ex.
To start it off:
My favorite moment was when i was at the end the first mission in Newyork and i was interrogating the leader at the top of the statue and the conversation went like this,
"Whos the scary one huh? Me or you?"
"You Cant fight Ideas with bullets."
UNATCO TROOP: "(Whistles)"

Haha, I had a similar thing happen on the statue.
NSF Commander: You're just a bunch of bullies for an illegitimate government.

Now if I remember correctly, i think i may have some screenshots of this mishap:
I was playing the mission where you have to blow up the ship carrying the HUGE shippment of ambrosia, so i played my way and snuck up to the captins cabin. As I was Reading his logs and Yoinking his 2500 credits ( :cheeky: ) I kept hearing this weird creeking sounds and whistling and sighing for about 2 mintues and i was like, "Ok what the hell is all that noise?!" and just next door in the Security Room where 3 guards are talking, I look at the door leading to the room and a guard is stuck on top of the door while it was swinging in and out :eek: . He was facing away from me whistling his happy little heart away. Man i was laughing so hard, I almost shot my gun off giving my position away! :laff:
Another one I remember was in the warehouse in newyork where you have to destroy the generator: I was infultrating the warehouse in the door leading straight to the generator and i snuck right next to it and a guard spotted me and tryed to shoot me but shot the explosive barrels infront of me (and mind you, my sound was all the way up :eek: ) and everything in the room Exploded in a Loud BOOM! Killing me and everyone near the barrels. Scared the living crap out of me too. had to take a breather after that Folly :rolleyes:

This happends after you kill the drug dealer thug in the underground tunnels there the Molepeople live and you talk to the Boss of the "Rooks" (I think :rolleyes: ).

I always like to bring up my experience during my first play-through, taking out the NSF goons in the Mole People's hideout.
You know how enemy characters won't attack you while you're in conversation? Well I thought I took care of all the NSF but obviously I missed one. So then I'm there talking to one of the Mole People, saying something to the effect of "You won't have any more trouble from the NSF..."
...meanwhile one of them is standing right behind me with a gun to my head, just waiting for me to stop talking! :D
Man, I really should've taken a screenshot of that! :thumb:
