Are you asking how I know it's possible to argue for religion without being a fucking idiot? I have a degree in philosophy. It's not ALL stoned college students sitting in a circle playing drums and talking about how it'd be so awesome to be a tree.
Nope, I was just being an ass.

Sorry I thought that part was a given.

But it would be pretty fucking awesome to be a tree.

I have a couple geologist friends that I need to show this to.
They'll either laugh themselves sick, or cry.
Honestly, just about every video in this thread (with the exception of Babel fish) makes me want to beat my head against the wall. I mean transitional forms? and peanut butter? and... gah!:nono:

Not all conservatives are so unreasonable.
Did you guys read about the new Nixon tapes released recently?
Turns out Nixon wasn't actually too hostile to Roe v Wade. He admitted cases where it's probably best that abortion is legal ... like interracial children. :tsktsk:
Or a rape.
Quote Posted by NYTimes - On Nixon Tapes, Ambivalence Over Abortion, Not Watergate (June 24, 2009)
WASHINGTON — On Jan. 22, 1973, when the Supreme Court struck down laws criminalizing abortion in Roe v. Wade, President Richard M. Nixon made no public statement. But the next day, newly released tapes reveal, he privately expressed ambivalence.
Nixon worried that greater access to abortions would foster “permissiveness,” and said that “it breaks the family.” But he also saw a need for abortion in some cases — like interracial pregnancies, he said.
“There are times when an abortion is necessary. I know that. When you have a black and a white,” he told an aide, before adding, “Or a rape.”

Eeh, I'm quite happy with my current form. Not to say I wouldn't like to be a metamorph.

They're not just ignorant of that.
Have these guys got basic high school educations?

humans are decended from frogs, seeded by marsians 50 million years ago.
after the egg you get tadpoles, tadpoles become frogs, which in turn become babies.
Evolutionary speaking pigs are also frogs.
Its why all the frogs all over the world are suddenly dying off, they've realise they're related to humans and are killing themselves.
while greys are decended from dinosaurs and plants, they were genetically engineered to photosynthisis so they could survive long space flights and use light as a source of food to keep themselves alive, its the clorofil in there skin that gives them that green grey tint.
