Turning AIs against each other can be so much fun :)
I was doing the first mission in VersaLife to steal the ROM modules, and had sneaked down to the level 2 labs before doing the deed. I tranquilized an MiB, not knowing it wouldn't work, and ran away as he chased me. Now although he was now hostile, the rest of the guards were not...so as I'm running away I turn back to wait for him to come out of a corridor so I can get in a headshot with the sniper rifle. No need! As soon as he comes into view he's smacked down by a nearby WiB carrying a Dragon's Tooth sword. BOOM!

Freeing the greasels and greys down in the lab can be fun, too :D
I moved some barrels around to block obvious exits, lured both greys out (can be a tricky one with all the radioactivity), then immediately opened the greasel cells and freed the lunatic. Then I disappeared in the vent shaft nearby and watched the show... in the end two men in black had made an exploding departure, many scientists had been either shot or poisoned by leaking barrels, and a woman in black was left running around without any ammo :cheeky:

I agree, Naartjie. That's possibly my favourite part of the whole game.
I prefer to go into the room that leads into the changerooms where there are half a dozen guards sitting around and shooting them a few times in the legs.
That sends them all into the red. Then I run back into the main labs and let them follow me. As soon as they enter, the MiBs/WiBs will all start attacking them and it's always total carnage.

through some strange anomaly in the AI system, during the terrorist situation in the subway, one terrorist shot another twice which then lead to the terrorist with the flamethrower to light another on flames..okay here it is:
innocent terrorist--->shot by terrorist with bad aim:laff: --->innocent terroist lights bad aim terrorist on fire--->bad aim terrorist now on fire--->lights four other terrorists on fire---> remaning terrorists waste innocent terrorist...:laff: :laff:

I live for moments like that in games. I used to have great fun in Unreal getting a Skaarj warrior between me and a Krall so the Skaarj ended up getting pinged by a blast from his supposed ally's lance. Of course, the Skaarj then turned and made MINCEMEAT out of the Krall. And getting those gasbag creatures to fight amongst themselves, too.
I know in Deus Ex there are variables controlling hostility that range from "Sees weapon" to "Gets injured" and they seem to override any artificial Team settings, and I think that's fantastic. I don't see it as an unintentional thing, either... more of a "gameplay option". You can save a lot of ammo if you can get a bunch of baddies to bicker amongst themselves. Of course, what pdenton just described is pretty extreme, but all the more hilarious for it.
You can do similar things with the Rooks, iirc. Get them fighting (even drag that Zyme dealer from the platform level up into the fray if you want) and stand back while they seriously even the odds for you.
:D
