I know this may not belong in this forum, but people don't seem to go to the other DX sections, so I have a few questions.
First of all, every time I'm at a loading screen nothing happens so I have to ctrl-alt-del and click "end task", and only then will it actually load. This happens everytime and it's extremely annoying. Second of all, the sound skips every few seconds in the intro and the ending videos.
I know I can fix the first problem with the patch, but then there's multitool bug. If anyone can help me out, I would really appreciate it.

Try turning down the audio acceleration:
Control Panel/Sound & Audio Devices. Click Advanced on the Speaker settings, then click on Performance. Lower the Hardware Acceleration.
This is for XP, not used win98 for quite awhile & never used WinME or Win2000. If you use the onboard sound try this for all your games to improve the games performance. Tis'nt always the graphics card or drivers that cause problems & jerkiness in games.
