I'll take a really, really wild (like just cuuuurazzzzzy!) stab in the dark (no pun intended) and guess it's because... there is third person in Thief 4.

I'm interested to know what third person action Azathoth thinks we'll see thief 4. I suspect he thinks third person exists in places it doesn't, and if that's true, I'll let him know.

Tenchu (ps1) does third person stealth well. That said that game is about guard elimination, not ghosting or stealing.

Eidos has brought Tomb Raider and Deus Ex back to life and made fantastic games. I don't think this game will be any different. But is all assumption.
I will make my final decision after playing it. Like everyone else should be. But it's the internet. People bitch and think they know it all. :rolleyes:

Because it's the worst game ever made this side of checkers. Though it might be the best. I refuse to give it a chance...though I might play it.

That's what I've been thinking too, I loved Deus Ex Human Revolution and Tomb Raider, and was very much looking forward to this, having enjoyed Dishonored as well. I'm just confused why there's so much hate without even having that much concrete information.
