'If you build a better mousetrap, the Terrorists will build a better mouse.'
'Remember when a bomb was a few sticks of dynamite wired to a timer or plunger? Well, those were the old days.'
First time I ever laughed out loud while watching the Daily Show.

Easy solution, bring in the cat.

Thank God we're no longer subjected to movies involving stupidly complex bombs.

You mean like (

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0244244/) Swordfish.
Yeah, I was watching Blown Away a couple weeks ago. I was admiring Tommy Lee Jones' performance when I happened to see Jeff Bridges defuse a bunch of incredibly intricate bombs. He asks the lady if she likes red wine or white wine. She doesn't say anything, so he cuts the red wire at 1 second left, and says, "Red wine? Me too." Or something to that effect. Anyway, can you imagine a bomb builder somehow not making a bomb that can be diffused by cutting the red wire? If I'm building a bomb, all the wires are going to be the same color, so no one knows what the fuck is going on.

I'm gonna construct a bomb that can only be defused by dogs. Let 'em try finding the red wire, ha!

Why not just strap a bunch of extraneous wires all over it? They could just keep cutting away and nothing would happen.

How about a bunch of syringes all over it, all of them filled with ebola or something like that? That would be the coolest evil villain thing to do ever. Even better than carving your name on the moon.
