Even with the extra L on the end, is this just a coincidence? The Shannara books were published throughout the 70s to the 90s, with a new series just out...

I don't think it can be a coincidence.. Bethesda must have gotten the name of the district from somewhere..
Anyway the Shannara series is such a blatant copy of the LotR that it sickens me.. :eww:

Blatant copy? No way! Of course it has absentee Elves and various other fantasy story elements common to LOTR, but you can hardly call it a copy.
