I lost my step-grandfather about this time last year. It's never easy, but he was a true gentleman and I'm sure your grandma has given you so many good times and memories to pass on. I hear his wise words in my mind from time to time. You'll always have the memories and opinions!
My "real" grandfather died when I was only months old, he only ever saw me once. It was Alzheimers so he probably didn't even understand who I was by that point.
