go yammering on for the nth goddamn time about the same fucking issue from 2007 to qualify your completely personal perspective on a game that most people don't agree with or relate to
Isn't that basically what TTLG (and most web forums) boild down to tho :p
oh hmm, that actually looked interesting. I dig the art style and pipy things, remidns me a bit of aliens, bit of that one oldschool LC-inspired point and clikc adventure game that escapes my mind now.
Tho gameplay wise it looks unsurprisingly like Amnesia in scifi, so I'll probably take a pass; just not my cup of tea. But fans of amnesia and scifi rejoice!

I'm kind of...well...I wouldn't say disappointed, but I'm not exactly overwhelmed by this new trailer. The graphics and style are nice, sure, but it looks like we're just getting future Amnesia rather than something that takes the same formula and greatly expands upon it.
Granted, it's just a teaser, and Frictional could only be showing us what we're expecting rather than anything new, but I was hoping for some NPC interaction, more depth to the gameplay, more variety. If it's the same running through hallways solving puzzles and getting snippets of information concerning the situation and your place in it from various handwritten notes PDAs and laptops lying around, it's gonna feel old real quick.
But at least we know it doesn't take place on a spaceship. No one would build a shapeship with plaster walls and doors like that. NO ONE!

H.R. Giger-inspired imagery. Environments later in the trailer look like the inside of the Engineer/Space Jockey ship. Cliched sci-fi horror, but that's alright.

Y'know... I watched Oblivion about a month ago. Now there's a movie that is derivative as fuck...
I really really enjoyed it regardless.
Soma, looks like it has the potential to be derivative as fuck. And really enjoyable.

The trailer for the first amnesia game was more interesting and had more interaction with the environment than the game itself. Hopefully they don't repeat the same here.
