No, not close. IT IS FREE. Episode 1. Reizak linked me to it yesterday. Use promo code 121GIGAWATTS.

I must be missing something, then...I don't see that advertised anywhere in the store and using the promo code with the pre-order in my cart doesn't do anything.

Enchantermon, try going here: (
http://www.telltalegames.com/bttfoffer) http://www.telltalegames.com/bttfoffer. Sign in (or register if you haven't already), then 'purchase' it and the code should be automatically applied. After which, BTF Episode 1 will be added to your account and unlocked when it's released.

Just found out today that the open-source Axis & Allies engine (
http://triplea.sourceforge.net/mywiki) Triple-A has dozens of fan-made maps. I've been having fun playing just vanilla Axis & Allies on it for a long time, but didn't know this.
I think it's a really polished engine. The A&A model makes for much better gaming IMO than typical wargaming fare, and I was wondering whether there could be any other scenarios that used it, and sure enough there are a lot of them you can download right from the latest version's menu. The Great War and Napoleonic War versions are great fun, and there's a US Civil War one in the making. Lots of others. Just funny it took me so long to discover them.

Someone finally made the inevitable - a rogue-like zombie game. I've been playing Desktop Dungeons lately but after playing a few games of Rogue Survivor I think I have found a new fix for my casual rogue-like addiction.

Oh man, that's great. Trying this one now!

Yeah I am loving Rogue Survivor. Alpha 6 was just released (since my last post) and mostly develops the follower side of things a bit further, there is a 'trust' mechanism, and starving survivors will now act more desperate for food. In my current game I had 1 follower and we were doing really well together, we survived for over a week by finding plentiful stocks of groceries and weapons. Then after entering the hospital basement in search of food, we were nearly overrun by zombies and just barely escaped. We found a house where a few other survivors were holed up, and I traded some shotgun ammo for some army rations, and gave one to my follower. Still low on health, we entered the house's basement to try sleep and heal up. However as soon as we got down there, another survivor blasted my follower with a shotgun to steal her food, and she died. I couldn't bring myself to continue without her :nono:
