Valve is giving you peasants another chance to try Team Fortress 2 for free this weekend.
Nice. Never played it. I'll be giving this a shot.

(
http://pleasingfungus.com/) Manufactoria
A nice flash puzzle game that requires logic and analytical thinking to solve.
Basically, it's a game for nerds, programmers and engineers, because it needs that sort of a mindset to play.

Just played some Hydorah last weekend; fun game, but I can't get past stage two yet :)
I also started playing (
http://www.remar.se/daniel/herocore.php) Hero Core which is a delightful B&W exploration-based action/adventure/shooter.

You guys should make a separate thread for all this Manufactoria stuff ;)

I couldn't agree more. I sometimes wonder if some of the megathreads that deal with subjects that don't expire should have their own forum. For example, this one would be similar to (
http://www.strangebedfellows.de/index.php?board=7.0) the one on strangebedfellows.
I don't think it would work as well for "what are you playing" or "bargain deals" due to the transient nature of the subject. (Unless a "community blog" style forum was possible)

Good idea, thanks.

I had sort of given up on browser-based games, but in the last few years they seem to have gotten much better without me noticing.
Just tried out (
http://musegames.com/games/guns-of-icarus) Guns of Icarus... A little cliched, but it's fully 3D, art direction is cool, and it does what it says on the tin really well. I found it after playing around with the free version of (
http://unity3d.com/) Unity, then looking up games made on it. To think anybody could make the same level of game and make it browser based is pretty amazing to my antiquated mind (thinking of old-school flash games). Downside is that I believe you have to install a plugin to play Unity games.
Edit: A list of links of like 50 (
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=301889810102&ref=mf#!/posted.php?id=301889810102) online Unity games.

I'm only on the "G" games yet and I've already had to stop the player to go Google downloadlinks 3 times. A lot of cool looking stuff there, a lot of it which hasn't been mentioned in this thread yet. :)
