It's going at 300KB/s for me.
Edit: It keeps stalling, though.

There are people in this thread who haven't played Portal before? Yowza.

Played it but didn't personally own it, myself.

Haven't played it yet, mostly because Narbacular Drop didn't really do that much for me. Neat enough concept, but nothing I'd bother spending further time on.

Trust me, it's gotten pretty far from Narbacular Drop.

Finished it again last night. It's nice to have a game you can easily complete in under two hours.
(Slightly OT)
I don't suppose anyone knows how to make it not stutter worse and worse depending on how much internet activity is going on in the background? Apart from disconnecting the internet, which makes it run as smooth as butter.

Hmmm, never heard that one before. I'll look around.

Have you tried disabling multicore rendering?
I understand that it's one of the Source features of L4D that they've retroactively patched into some of the Orange Box titles. Disabling that option in L4D used to eliminate GPU driver-related stuttering.

Agreed. It's like saying that you'll give Half-Life a miss because Wolfenstein 3D or even Catacomb Abyss didn't float your boat.
