GameTap have started getting their shit together again. :cheeky: They have a new in-browser interface, a few new freebies and I'm pretty sure the games work better now as well. I was having sluggish mouse movement and all kinds of wierd lag with Hitman before the update but now those problems are gone and the game is running just fine. :thumb:
New (
http://www.gametap.com/offers-upgrade.html?s=FREE) freebies:
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (downloading this right now, never played it back in the day)
Infernal (Second Sight/PSI-Ops esque third person shooter)
Freespace
Dark Star One
Shadow Grounds
Battle Stations Midway
Also a bunch of the old freebies that were removed a while ago. DX, TDS, Just Cause, Hitman: Blood Money, Tomb Raider Legend, Second Sight and Psychonauts are all back.

I see you've got Dungeon Crawl listed but there's also (
http://crawl-ref.sourceforge.net/) Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup. As I understand it, its a continued development of the original DC. It's got a tile version with a mouse interface which I really like. It makes it a lot more newbie friendly than a lot of other roguelikes.

Not a game, but there's a virtual Forbidden City you can walk around in:
(

About exactly what you'd expect from a glorified museum exhibit ... controls are basic, GUI a little over the top in trying to help you out at the beginning, functionable graphics, you can watch a few pre-animated scenes play out, and there's a few basic interactive bits here and there.
But if you can't get enough of being an avatar exploring a 3D world, here's another one.

While not the most difficult game around, I found (
http://armorgames.com/play/3953/little-wheel) Little Wheel to be a great way to whittle away a good 10 minutes of your time.
Edit: I saw another game that had a similar silhouetted style to this a couple years back. I can't remember the name, but it was a platformer with what looked like a little boy going up against a giant spider and jumping between cogs in a factory. Can anyone refresh my memory here?
