Yeah Knytt Stories was fun. Haven't checked out the downloadable stuff yet. Will. Soon.

(
http://platformthegame.com/) Platform is a fairly polished game with a new level released every Sunday. The mechanic of having two people you alternate between as you play through adds a decent twist to the standard platformer gameplay..

Zdim and company have just ripped the price sticker off of Plasmaworm, the most psychedelic snake game you're ever likely to play. (for which I can even forgive them using "[click] here" as anchor text :)
It's not a patch on their later output (in particular I always had a few issues with the control and collision detection in this game), but it has more than enough niftyness to be worth downloading. I just wish they'd enhanced the editing facilities a little more, so that you could easily create and share entire level sets. IIRC, this wasn't quite supported.
Be sure to have a play with the music editor!
I seem to recall that beating all the levels on high difficulty involved a whole lot of swearing, so if you feel like yelling abuse at your CRT for a while, go ahead and crank it up... ;)

The fine folks at Jellyvision have been doling out a Dis Or Dat every weekday, with a full seven question YDKJ episode every Monday.
Everyone who remembers how awesome (
http://youdontknowjack.com/) You Don't Know Jack was should go check it out. Also, the rest of you.

(
http://www.wolfire.com/blackshades.html) Black Shades is an addicting little "protect the VIP" game. Sure, it may not look like much, but us TTLGers aren't graphics whores...right?
Oh, and speaking of You Don't Know Jack, it's great to see it back. Only downside is, it's one-player only on that site, so you can't screw your friends!

Absolutely!
Why this anti-aliasing slider doesn't work?

How is it that Command & Conquer Gold is over 1GB?
I don't remember the original being anywhere near that size (have they upped the graphics or something?)
Downloading... but taking so long.

It was on 2 CD's when it came out. One for GDI, one for NOD. That's probably more than 1 Gb.

Right. That would be all the FMV's I guess. Thanks.
