Prison Architect is free on GOG, at least it was for me for being with them for so long; so I don't know if it's for everyone.
They're also having a pretty good Winter Sale.
PA, like Rimworld, is a nice building game with a kind of wry black humor to it. I just bought it recently too, but I can't say I'm miffed about getting it for free since it's a fun game and I got it on sale, and it's worth what I paid for it.

EGS will have a new freebie every day for 12 days, starting yesterday with Cities: Skylines. Today's freebie is Oddworld: New n' Tasty.

Thanks for letting us know about the daily freebies! :) It would have sucked to miss out on a few of those before finding out that this thing exists. Fortunately I already had Cities: Skylines in my collection. Never played any of the Oddworld games but maybe it's time to give this one a try.

BTW - Today's free game from the Epic Store is The Long Dark, an excellent survival game, and one very well though of around these parts (and one that I've been meaning to get back to for...years now?).

A couple days ago someone posted a supposedly leaked list of all the upcoming EGS freebies, and it's looking pretty accurate.

Eh... I mean, good games, but I've either played em or don't wanna play em.

Just checked gog and its still 1.49. Did I miss something? Limited time probably huh?

List seems accurate.
Today's is Defense Grid: The Awakening.
A good tower defence game, better than the sequel I think.
I'd recommend it if you're into that sort of game.

I don't see any banner at the top of the Galaxy "Recent" page per the instructions in that link, so did I miss something? Limited time probably huh?
Edit: I think I get it. I already have it on Steam, and GOG knows that. I tend to want to get the same game across multiple platforms if they're being given away--I'm doing that with a lot of the Epic giveaways--such is my paranoia (borne out from past experience) of a platform going under and taking my games on it with it or otherwise arbitrarily restricting them. But I guess GOG knows best, and it's not such a big deal anyway.
