Y'know the Blair Witch game isn't bad! It's mostly just a pretty chill game about taking your dog for a walk in the forest. It doesn't get super-spooky until the finale(which kinda drags on for too long honestly), but if you're lacking horror gaming this Halloween, it's a pretty good way to spend the weekend.
Haven't played Ghostbusters, probablly should.

Yes, you should. And with the price of free there's no good reason not to pick it up now, the EGS version doesn't seem to have any DRM attached (other than requiring an install though the launcher).
It's a fairly solid game with a mix of "spooky" and action sections. The characters behave like you'd expect from the movies.

Great game. I actually liked Classic more than the re-boot one. It crystallizes the gameplay into a tighter package, which is good for a roguelike kind of game.

I wonder if the strategy of Epic Games is to release these freebies until we all feel too guilty about not actually
buying anything. I gotta say that I like that strategy. :p
Now that GOG Galaxy exists though, I could even imagine buying something off the Epic store, but I guess I'd still rather spend my money at GOG or Humble Store.

I agree, and yes, it's a great game. The AI can be super frustrating though, I wish there was a way to control your citizens at least a tiny bit more.

The strategy is that of a Free to Play service-based game: to get user engagement, bring people into the platform. The few whales who spend money will make up for the losses spent buying up content.

Yes, I think they were looking at some of the other Steam alternatives like GOG. Even if it has a platform, people aren't going to spend much time on it or buy games from it because they don't have enough games on it to make it worth it. But have a platform with 100+ games on it out of the gate, and now people will be spending a comparatively sizable chunk of time on it.
