From Nov 1 it's going to be Soma and Costume Quest. Soma's cool.
You mean from today.
Next Thursday Nuclear Throne and Ruiner are going to be up for grabs.

Nice of 'em to give out what's one of the best horror games ever made right before Halloween, huh.
SOMA's good, too.
I'm kidding. Costume Quest is fun, but for fuck's sake anyone who's a horror game fan play SOMA if they haven't yet.

Says Nov 1 for me. Keep in mind that most of what someone from the US calls "today" is actually "tomorrow" for me in Japan.

I played The Messenger a while back, and it was a real mixed bag. Solid gameplay, but eventually it got so difficult I didn't wanna keep going. It's got a lot of clever touches, like how the music gets muffled when you dive underwater, or how one character who is explained as "existing outside of linear time" keeps moving even when you press the pause button. It's a quite charming game, until it opens it's mouth. The storytelling is from the Deadpool school of writing, where simply pointing out that a trope exists is expected to count as a joke.
So, yeah. Looking forward to Bad North tho.

according to some of the reviews, a lot of features are locked unless you pay, including save/load so make of that what you will.

(
https://www.humblebundle.com/store/serial-cleaner-free-game) Serial Cleaner is currently free on Humble Bundle. It's not a very good game, I played it a few months ago and it's like Hotline Miami with 70's vibes (you just turn up after all the killing has been done to clean up the mess) but well, it's free.
