Next week is the interactive experience "Everything" along with Metro 2033 Redux.

Epic must have a Scrooge McDuck money bin or something or there.
~$3 billion profit from Fortnite during the last quarter of 2018. It's the primary reason they even considered starting up the EGS.

That much money and they still don't have a shopping cart?

Fun fact: The Marketplace for the Unreal Engine does have a shopping cart, for some reason they just decided not to use what they already have for the EGS. And both are available when using the Epic Launcher...

I knew something was up last week when they had a "?" in the upcoming slot with a batman teaser.

Everything & Metro 2033 are free on Epic this round.

I had some trouble installing Metro:
When I claimed it, it got listed as "Petunia", greyed out, and I was told that the OS was "unsupported". No clear idea what to do at the time -- and I had other things on my mind -- so I left it like that for a couple of days. Today I happened by an advice in the Steam forums about it, and after clearing out parts of the temporary webcache folder for the Epic games launcher -- more specifically the cache folders -- I was allowed to install and play the game. Most likely I won't continue playing it, though; I just wanted to try it out while it's free.
Now I'm curious to what petunia has to do with Metro, though!?
