Howdy. I am Andy Bartmess, and I have loved doing voices for years. I am trying to break into professional work, but for now am doing donated stuff for the gaming community to show off and get some demo stuff for my website, (
http://www.everybodyandme.com) www.everybodyandme.com. Please stop by and check out the Demo page.
I have done a variety of voice work for several Mission authors for The Dark Mod, and would like to offer up my services for any game/mission that you think may apply. I am told I do a great Garrett, and my demo page has a short 2 minute reel of other Dark Mod voices I have done. I am a self-trained VO artist, so any hints or guidance you more professional types can offer would be great.
Any links you can offer where I may apply myself would also be appreciated, and please repost this thread on any other forum where I can get exposure.

I'd recommend hitting up the SS2 section + posting on systemshock.org.

Good stuff, Andros. :)
I make (
https://henke.itch.io/) games, tho I'm not working on anything at the moment, but I might need a voiceactor at some point in the next year or two. I'll bookmark your site and try to remember it when I need it. :thumb:

I listened to some of your demos, and they do sound very good.
As henke already pointed out, quite a few of us are working on games, but I'm also nowhere near far enough along to need voice actors.

As much as I'd love to see more SS2 FMs with good voice acting, the sad fact remains that there are none currently in development (that I know of), so I'm not sure if you'd find any useful interest on the SS2 boards.

If I give you my Skype username, can you read to my daughter so I can get some more gaming in?
Seriously though, the demos sound good. I ordinarily cringe when listening to amateur voice work and no cringing was had :)

Welcome and thanks for the kind offer Andros! I do a lot of sotry-driven games so could probably benefit from some good VO ;) Just one tip - PLEASE PLEASE remove the auto play on front page of your site. It's a really bad web design practice (source: decade of work as web consultant). Have a simple player show up on top the user can click to play if they choose to - even a SoundCloud embed will do.
You have a good, strong and bit gruffy voice that's perfect for dark tone stuff I do haha. I'm actually(
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvqQAbC9ff8) working on a trailer for one and would be curious to see (well, hear) your take on all the text lines that show up as white characters on black.
Tho I kind of like the current style with the typing sound. Not sure if VO narration would be better... what do fellow TTLGers think?
