Hi guys!
I hope it's okay if I post some news from the Silgrad Tower team here. If you feel it's inappropriate then please delete it, as I don't want to cause unhappiness. Btw contact me if your site wants to link share or share banner buttons with silgrad.com, we're a pretty big site, and I have personally always liked Destination: Morrowind.I'm is looking for 3DSM modellers who are interested in showcasing their work as part of Morel (
http://silgrad.com/oblivion/morel.htm) (Modders' Research Library). By uploading your 3DSM models on our forum (hosted by (
http://forum.silgrad.com/portal.php) silgrad.com; register and log in, and you'll have access to the 3DSM board), you'll have a convenient backup of your work. It's also a good place to make new friends who are also into modelling, and when talking with others you can reference your uploads for more information if they want to check them out.
Uploaders also have the option of recieving an account at (
http://gallery.silgrad.com/thumbnails.php?album=16) gallery.silgrad.com, where you can upload screenshots of the .max models you've uploaded. The screenshots can be integrated into your threads (so readers can see your work at a glance when checking your upload thread), but your gallery is also open for anyone to view, meaning you can share the link to your own album to people wanting to see your models. Descriptions for each screenshot means you can feature information about your site, add links, et cetera as you see fit.
If you have finished (or abandoned) projects in your portfolio, uploading the models to the Morel archive also means your work will be converted to a format useable by Oblivion after the game's release, and so your work will get new life.
There's no upload limit or maximum number of screenshots - you're free to add as much as you want, and the interactive features mean you'll always have total control over your material. And as you have the right to withdraw your models from the Archive for any reason, you really have nothing to lose :)

Silgrad Tower open for webhostingAre you a dedicated Morrowind modder, tired of limitations on storage space and/or bandwidth limits?
Does intrusive advertising on your free host screw up your design and test the patience of your visitors?
Or do you have an abandoned Morrowind mod project you'd like to see live on, long after your free host has deleted your account?
Silgrad Tower ((
www.silgrad.com)) has recently opened its doors for worthy The Elder Scrolls mod sites to be hosted at us. We offer:
- free subdomain
- no banners or other ads placed on your pages
- unlimited storage space
- unlimited bandwidth
- no risk of deletion due to inactiveness
Accepted sites will be given access to an FTP folder on our account, which will be connected to the xxx.oblivion.at and xxx.silgrad.com subdomain of your choosing. Your account will be totally separate from the Silgrad Tower site.
Accepted sites have the option of administrating a board on Silgrad Tower's forum (with its own color scheme and logo), so your discussions will be up and running in no time.
The following rules should be followed...
- Your website should be dedicated to Elder Scrolls modding
- Your website should be in English
- We should like you ;)
To apply for a subdomain, reply in the thread linked below (you'll need to register to post, but not just to read) and write a presentation of your mod project(s). If possible, add a link to your current website location so we can check it out.
