Well it doesn't work for Starcraft...
Fraps definitely works for Thief, Thief 2, System Shock 2, and Starcraft for me.
You mentioned trying the trial version - I think you can have trouble if you have both the full and trial versions installed at once. But that's just meant to be the full version refusing to run after you've had the trial installed. [(

It sounds to me more like either codec issue, or somehow Fraps is not recording the right thing. Do you have two graphics cards, maybe?

What I highlighted in red is probably whats wrong and I switched my Nvidia Geforce 5500 graphics card with a 6200 one thats probably whats causing Thief Gold not to work and Fraps (

Very odd, site works and prompt for download works on this end. Try again later. :)

I just found out that Fraps doesn't work on TG either..

I've used FRAPS for many years, going through various hardware configs with many different video cards on different computers, and it's always been flawless for me. I would say this has to be some wacked out driver issue or something like that. Maybe you have some codec pack that screws with the FRAPS codec or something.

I just switched back to my 5500 and I'm having the same problems...

I still need help please?, I want to make my walkthroughs..

It's actually quite hard to tell just what exactly you have tried of the things people suggested, over all of these threads.
When Nameless talks about two video cards I think he might be wondering if they're actually both running at the same time, which switching between them might not tell you (I'm assuming that the 6200 is onboard here).
Phantom0914 on 15/5/2008 at 18:56
They're not onboard graphics, they're nvidia graphics cards you put in your computer in the slot
