Actually, I know. The latter would be far too witty.
It's something to do with the orbit and sun output not matching the current warming trend, from memory.
See, they check these things before just dismissing the possibility like you (try applying any quibbles about knowledge gathering you may have to the Milankovich theory just for fun too. It's made of the same stuff climate change theory is after all)

I'm starting to wonder if Fragony might not be some kind of learning bot designed to read other posts and respond to them with an evolving selection of stock phrases. It would explain the sub-par English as well. And clearly the programmer thought of everything, designing it to insult native speakers' English upon being corrected.
