well im laughing at
- clutching at straws
- wrong (there has been a rise, and adjusting to eleven years minimises the rise but is still wrong)
- gibberish
- havent we got two poles?
- and the polar bears are doing well is particularly wrong and stupid.
- hardly
- no
- if you say so
- yes, one is melting, other isn't
- fuck'm anyway, and they are doing fine by the way, too fine really.

At least this thread has degenerated into easy-to-read bullet points because I seriously fucking hated wading through Fragony's meandering bullshit to get to his actual point.
Fragony on 27/12/2009 at 23:31
What's so hard about 'no such thing as manmade global warming'. That's the point.

Wait, I'm really confused how one pole could be melting without the other one melting. Could you link me to the source of this data?

Antarctica is not melting (or to be more accurate is not melting at an accelerated and or unsustainable rate) as it is basically a gigantic self perpetuating non floating ice block. That's hardly the big oh wow that denialists make it out to be though, as it is not gaining mass in any kind of long term sense.

You and me both, as well as just about everybody.

Antarctica is not meltingIndeed it isn't, it's growing. That is odd. To some at least, not to people who are absolutely terrified of CO2 and the people growing fat on their fears.

oh my gosh - who'd have thought that two places, poles apart, could be doing different things. What a crazy, topsy-turvy world we live in. Perhaps there is some kind of (
http://www.antarctica.ac.uk/press/press_releases/press_release.php?id=1065) review of the Antarctic Climate and how it fits into the global system that people could, ya know, read and stuff.
Fragony on 28/12/2009 at 09:44
Yeah that is pretty weird considering we are talking about global warming, that's global. So maybe if it is a localised affair maybe something else is going on, and that there is no need to be absolutely terrified of CO2.

In this topsy turvy world of topsy turvy ideas I'm a bit lost.
I must be reading this page wrong, is Fragony saying the North Pole is melting?
Whereas many pages back I had to hunt and find evidence to prove this point to him.
Not that I can be bothered to wade through pages of shit to find it.
