At first I thought that Jesse Ventura thing was a parody but then I realized, oh wait, American "reality" television is actually like this.
I couldn't stomach it far enough to see whether Jesse buys the "conspiracy" angle or not. Does he?

Besides this bullshit convention that is going to hurt us financially really really badly? Well the security council comprising of rogue states who break human rights on daily bases, the incredibly one-sided approach to the Israel-Palestinian conflict, and most of all it got too big and clumsy it wants too much too fast, global integration is inevitable so take your bloody time alright the world wasn't build in 7 days we need real development and that requires stopping giving money to poor country's, keeps them poor, nice book on the subject

If you are going to take a go at political social constructivism at least have the moral ground to do so or that naming and shaming won't work. We got the Nato, what more do we need besides an unbeatable military alliance. There is nothing to discuss with the majority of the country's in the UN, it's a joke.

Which convention would that be? (There are several that countries have agreed to) If you're talking human rights, which right do you wish to get rid of? and how is it going to hurt you badly? Why should your right to make money trump anyone elses rights?

the incredibly one-sided approach to the Israel-Palestinian conflict,
In which way are you claiming the UN is one sided? Both sides have reasonable evidence that the UN is not supporting their legitimate claims
Seeing as both sides are claiming that its being one sided it cant be going that far wrong.

Oh the might makes right argument. so why shou;d they just do what we tell them?

Well for example ever heard about the second wall the Egyptians are building, they have more effective ways to get rid of tunnel smugglers though, they just fill up the tunnels up with gas. Nasty. But you have never heard of that. But that bitch of a wall that prevents rockets from landing on schools, evil.

And the palestinians would argue that that wall is built in such a way that it steals much of the land that it is built way inside the borders of land that is rightfully theirs and thats arguing on the basis of the 1966 borders, which are agreed as the acknowledged borders of Israel. The vast majority of walls are built to Illegally annex an extra 30% of the Palestinian teritory.
Even the Israeli government dosnt argue that the wall is there to defend against rockets,
And what does that have to do with the UN?

PR and NGO's funded by, Israel has every right to complain that the UN is being one-sided, I would have said borderline hostile but that's just me.

I know I'm feeding the trolls, but this is just too much fun not to do:
(

Quote:
“It would seem that men and women need a common motivation, namely a common adversary, to organize and act together in the vacuum such as motivation seemed to have ceased to exist or have yet to be found. The need for enemies seems to be a common historical factor…Bring the divided nation together to face an outside enemy, either a real one or else one INVENTED for the purpose…
Democracy will be made to seem responsible for the lagging economy, the scarcity and uncertainties. The very concept of democracy could then be brought into question and allow for the seizure of power.
In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. The real enemy [of the elites and their minions] then is humanity itself.”
