I can't get the Founders Helm (Redoran Quest) from Alvis Teri in Balmora without bribing him. Is there another way? I hate to give up 1000 gold. My personality is at 75, but taunt and admire don't work.

I don't believe that killing him even with taunting will be good enough, in this case; if memory serves, that still registers as a failure to the quest-giver. I just paid him and got the helm; going back and mugging him for the cash may work ;)
