When I go to a specific forum from the index page, it generates several strange history entries. I'm using IE 5.5.
At first I wondered why the back button doesn't work but then I realized that there were multiple entries of (
http://ds.cybereps.com/hserver/acc_rand) http://ds.cybereps.com/hserver/acc_rand in the pull-down menu and so I have to click "back" many times or select "TTLG Forums" from the pulldown list.
While it's not really a big deal, it is a bit annoying. If it's not too hard to fix, you should. Or maybe it's got something to do with the ads and is not under your control?
PS. on a side note. why have ads started to open pop-up windows all over the web? I hate it. One day it will probably be like warez sites.

These entries in the browser history can't come from the pop-ups, because I don't get to see them. And we've only had this problem for two weeks, so there must be a way back. We used to have pop-ups and cybereps banners before and they didn't flood the history list.

Since I am not experiencing the extra history entries, it's a bit hard to troubleshoot and test. But, I just had an idea about what *may* be causing this...
I've made a change based on my idea, will someone please let me know if it has made any difference? :)

Yeah, it worked :) what did you do?

Yippii! Thanx! But now it adds to the history *before* the index page, though (I came directly by typing the url (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums).) www.ttlg.com/forums). But that's no problem.
Anyway, I want to say this is one the best community site I've been to! I don't visit the main site, much, though, mostly the forums.
Many other places, like gamespot.com could have wonderful community forums, but they use crappy software (or at least not as good as UBB). Although I don't know if that's the reason they're not popular, but I hate to see custom-made forums that try to be different somehow. The worst I've seen is at gamasutra.com
UBB is great for medium and high traffic forums.

I've never had a problem with the history under the back arrow (in IE5), but the longer history list still looks (
http://people.freenet.de/kyloe/zwischenablage.html) like this.
I wonder why the banners sudddenly appear there. BTW, I like the new look.

I'm sorry to say that the ads have all just reappeared in my history. Back to square one. :/
