I think I've noticed something since the upgrade. Now that the thread number is passed as an argument in the URL, the page always gets refreshed. IIRC, before, when the URL contained the thread number as the filename for the page, the page was not reloaded if no one had made any modification. (I suppose that the page was actually generated upon modification, not upon request).
The positive point (for TTLG) it that now the ads change more often (IIRC, they stayed the same for a given thread).
The negative point (for TTLG, and for us), is that it may increase the required bandwidth <IMG SRC="shake.gif" border="0">. (Why, before, when I had no time to come on TTLG, is used to pick the thread directly in IE's history ; if nothing had changed the page was read from the cache).
