OK, I think if a game like The Crossing has it's own forum (where there hasn't been a post in like 3 months), there certainly should be one for for the Fallout games. Riiiiiiiight?

A better argument would be that there's Oblivion and Morrowind forums, so why not Fallout 3? The existence of The Crossing forum doesn't have anything to do with it, since Arkane, like Irrational, is an LGS-legacy studio (though they employ more TTLG members than they do ex-LGS employees), whereas Bethesda is not.
Still, I don't have a problem with it, but not having a problem with something isn't a reason to do it. Really what it comes down to is, would it become a ghost town as soon as the Fallout 3 mania dies down, or is there longevity there? I haven't paid enough attention to the Fallout 3 activity in GenGaming to know, but I am interested in hearing about it.

It's likely to see a little more activity than the Oblivion forum in the long run. Fallout 3's a somewhat better game than Ob and with the mod tools being released soon, there's bound to be more discussion about it. Certainly about as much as STALKER, at least.

I agree with Sulphur, it likely has a pretty good shot at spawning some discussion and holding TTLG's attention for a fair bit. Especially with the (
http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php/Main_Page) GECK construction set now out. Prior to its release, there were a couple of threads on the front page of GenGaming, but now it's pretty much concentrated in that one thread. It's getting rather (

Another voice in the petition.
My little argument is that it's very likely that Beth will make F4 as well, and yes, the plugins and mods should keep at least fair interest in all Falout related. And if it really dies in year or two, admins can always pour the threads into GenGaming and delete it.

Just to be clear, I did envision a new Fallout forum to cover all the Fallout games, not just the new one. I myself have never played the originals, but I want to, and it might be a good place for get tips and help. I'm guessing the the popularity of the new game, a lot of other gamers will go back and play the originals too.
