Using firebird (yeah, should upgrade to firefox soon), the spoiler tags are not perfect. It isn't really a problem, but if you try hard enough you can read the text in the spoiler tags without highlighting it, as the colours are off.
Doesn't really need to be fixed, but interesting to note.
[EDIT]
Oops, this should go in the Forums and Webpage area. Could a moderator please move it there?

I use Firefox at home and at work, but I've not been able to view the tags.
I believe the colours were altered slightly as Opera used to show the contents quite obviously. Also I think TFT screens show the contents a bit too.
For the most part I don't think it matters. :)

That's really kinda weird. If the colors are set to the same value they should completely match, surely.
I've noticed they've started showing up too, but figured that was a conscious decision if one of the browsers wouldn't invert the text on selection properly.

I could also see the words under the spoiler tags (admittedly, just barely). It was IE5 on 98SE, this issue seems to be fixed on IE6.

I see them occasionally when large volume of text is spoilered out.
Sometimes it is very easy to read. Especially when the text contains a hyperlink that the page defaults to a bright colour
It should be pretty easy to ensure hyperlinks are coloured the same as the background/font in vB3. Currently the font and background do differ slightly, but I believe this was to combat a bug/feature/thingy of Opera6.

I noticed this on my laptop.

Actually the problem was the reverse, when highlighting the spoilered text in Opera, it still wouldn't show up. The user had to copy/paste the spoiler into notepad oer something to read it. This was fixed by making the spoiler text just slightly different than the background.
I agree that it really doesn't matter too much if the text can be seen through somewhat. If someone complains that they were spoiled because they squinted and read their screen up close, or from an angle... whose fault is that? ;)

Well I got the right program at least, so that's 5/10 points for me! :cheeky:

Naw, you get full points sweetie, for jogging my memory (not an easy thing). All I remembered was that it was Opera, and Daxim that bitched about it (surprise!) until you posted that, then it clicked in that it had been the opposite.
I should add that while he did bitch about it, he also provided the solution :)
