Yes this has been noted. Al_B will get to it as soon as he can. This problem is also true of the Review thread and, I imagine, other threads of that type.

Has this issue been brought to your attention. Is this problem being dealt with ?
Yes, it just took me a bit longer to get to this issue than I wanted. There was a change a few years ago to ensure that you could reply to a thread and would be taken to the reply box immediately. It wasn't a problem when replying to the thread was only possible from the separate page but it was less than ideal with the new quick reply available.
I've fixed the issue (hopefully!) but let me know if there are any pages / threads where there is still an issue.

Also fixed:
* "Reply to Thread" button should now work without having to go to advanced edit or click twice on reply
* Signatures now default to "off". I'm tempted to remove that option from the quick reply / quick quote windows as it's probably wasted space but I haven't done that (yet).

Thanks very much for the fixes, Al! I can verify that the Reply to Thread button is working as desired, and you're no longer taken straight to the quick reply box/end of page when clicking on a thread link. At least, this is true for the threads I've tried it in, but I'll keep an eye out to see if it recurs anywhere.

Thanks again for the Quick Reply box, which I think is a neat addition to the boards, and for the swiftly implemented improvements. I'd be for removing the signature option, since I doubt many people use it, and it's something that makes little sense on a post-by-post basis.

Quick additional comment: Is it possible that "Show your signature" is still ticked when you click on "Reply with quote"?

It isn't for me.

It's most likely a cache issue. Vbulletin ticks that option in a theme for the quick reply and in javascript for the quick quote (which is a pain). Force a page reload with ctrl+F5 or clear your cache if you're on a mobile browser and it should be fixed.
