(Properly this should go in the 'random youtube' thread, but I've never been much of a joiner. )
I don't know if this is a parody or not, but here's (
http://youtube.com/watch?v=9TgUkewQX1M) Bruce's 'Old Spice' commercial. The product packaging alone makes this worth viewing.
P.S. I'm not an 'Evil Dead' fanboy- I've never even seen 'Army of Darkness'- but it aggravates the hell out of me that BC was never a bigger star. "Briscoe County' was a fantastic show, and for all the comments about his chin he was actually quite good-looking when he was younger. Why hasn't Sam Raimi given him bigger roles in his movies, if they are supposedly such good friends?

You can take comfort in the fact that he's now co-starring in the new series
Burn Notice (
http://www.usanetwork.com/series/burnnotice/) on the USA network.

Bruce Campbell fans who want to see their hero selling out to play "Hungry like the wolf" in some second-rate rip-off of all those terrible Axe commercials, that is.

That IS a real commercial, yes.
And to my surprise, Burn Notice was actually pretty good. It was very clever and had a well-developed sense of humor. The main actor is great, too. It's rare to see TV shows these days that aren't sitcoms, reality shows, soap-opera dramas, or dead-serious action shows.

I'll agree on this, I was at my grandmothers this weekend and had some time of drooling laziness on the couch watching TV. I didnt know what I was watching for a while, I thought it was a movie but I found it pretty entertaining, not sure if I would bother tuning in regularly but it wasnt the usual crap one finds, even if it was a little cliched.

He was Raimi's first pick to play Darkman. The studio wouldn't have it, though.
Bruce Campbell actually has a pretty decent (
http://www.bruce-campbell.com/) official website. I get a kick out of some of his role descriptions in the resume section:
Quote:
"Xena has been killed and she recruits 'Auto's' body so that I can steal hers back from the Amazons. So I wanted to wear a dress - you got a problem with that?" -BC

For some reason his Resume doesn't include the voice work he did for a couple of episodes of Megas XLR. Odd, considering that was one of the show's highlights.

Bruce Campbell rules. Very funny guy.
He made even Xena worth watching, back in the day, when he was playing that King of Thieves guy.

Ah Autolycus, King of Thieves, inspiring Hotmail addresses since 1996.
