But if all guards have silver swords, then why can't they kill wisps? Are wisps immune to silver or is it a bug that guards can't kill wisps?

the wisps probably are just tough for them. Simple.

Wisps use Absorb Health, it's likely that the guards can't outdamage the healing of that. Especially with the various other effects used by Wisps.

that's what I was saying. They also use Stat Reduction spells. I am gonna guess the guards are just not bad-ass enough.

At level 40 you could besiege every castle/town on your own :cheeky:

It's not a question of "What do i do now", it more like "what shall I do first". I just escaped from the imperial dungeon. Now i don't know what to do first, shall I start the main quest, shall I explore the city or the mountain. There's almost too much choice.

explore the city. you will find people and you will pick up quests, and it will become very interesting fast

What do I do first, that's a good point. I've played every Elder Scrolls game since Arena so I had a pretty good idea how I wanted to start things out. I always kind of feel insecure when I start these games. No money, no position, few weapons, shabby clothes. Like in real life I can't really enjoy myself until I feel secure. Generally I start out by "taking care of business." Joining a guild as quickly as possible. Tireless work on upping some stats, finding better weapons, etc. I don't really feel like exploring and adventuring until my character is on more solid footing. All of that setup stuff always leads to some interesting and fun quests to start things off.
