And before you yell at me and tell me to forward ports and do all that fun stuff; WE DID. In fact, we're both the DMZ on our routers. We're both using Hamachi v1.0.2.5, and we're both using the pirated version of System Shock 2 (we both own the game but we have Vista and the boxed copy doesn't work too well with Vista >_>)
Any suggestions?

But if your dead-set on using Hamachi, There are a few things you can try. 1st Ihave you disabled your local area network b4 going into MP so that the game reads the Hamachi Ip and not the standard one? Then minimize the game and re enable your local area network connection? Also have you tried making sure your firewall isn't blocking the game? If this doesn't help I recommend this site has a lot of good information, Just go to Multiplayer guide at :(

That sounds like a pretty awesome idea Midniteryu, but I have no clue how to disable my LAN in Vista. -_-
Google isn't helping either.

I haven't used Vista yet ( and from what I hear from people who do use it makes me not want to at all). This advice is going to be as generalized as I can make it since I'm unfamiliar with the layout of vista. Try to find your control panel or the settings folder for your network connections and hopefully they're should be the options to disable the current network or set priorities for specific programs as in which program uses which connection. You should be able to disable it and then run your game with Hamahci active and before you start your MP game just re enable your LAN connection.
And Calling out any of you Vista users if you can give a better description of where to go to change LAN settings please feel free to do so and give a helping hand to a fellow gamer:angel:
