if you love fan mission but not sure what ones to play, this is what you should do, first get every thief 1 fan mission play them all, then get every thief gold fan missions and play all of those, then get every thief 2 fan missions and play all of those, then you can thank me as so many of them may not be the greatest but they got certain parts that are amazing and you wont forget

its well worth it, and don't get me wrong there will be some that test your skills in many ways, but in the end you will be a better thief fan mission player when you are done, over time when playing missions there will be certain things that you will feel more drawn to then other things, that is why its great, you might end up liking something someone else does and form a bond over what ever it is

for me top 3 are

dewdrop
healing fruit
intruder painting


also just know i feel some of the older fan missions are way harder with enemy's/objective = jis/etc

and best tip save a lot and be sure to have the saves at different places just in case you have to load a bit further back then you think you might have too


if you got any questions please post = no need for zylon the cylon to make any smart remarks as we need more fan mission authors to be created by the master builder

also i am part German and Russian so you know i got issues

and my post is the best topic for new player as i want them to play everything, not just what is common over all, i have played all thief 1/g/2 fan missions 3-5+ times and i feel its was better for my skills in fan missions

everyone else post is limited

I used to work with a guy who typed exactly like downwinder does. Like if I didn't know better, I'd say it was him. He was very smart and articulate in person, just had a colorful writing style. You wouldn't have been able to match him to his writing
