In the past sometimes when escorting someone they walk in place but don't go anywhere. If I walk around them for a while it gets fixed. But now in Tel Aruhn I've bought that slave girl for the main quest thing and have to escort her back to the Ash camp. I opened the cage and gave her the clothing and she said she will come with me. But when I walk away from the cage she just runs in place and never leaves the cage. I've tried everything. Any suggestions? Could the mod I'm running be interfering?
Thanks.

Well, this is a standard bug w/ NPCs in many games; their pathfinding breaks if they try to go over complicated terrain (and as there's an invisible ramp in front of her, that may be complicated if you're [for example] off to the side when you walk away). The best trick I've found is to tell them to 'wait' and then 'follow' to reset their pathing. The next best trick is to always save before you tell someone to follow you, and save to a 2nd slot whenever you successfully lead 'em past a complicated bit of terrain.

I find that going back to the person and talking to them again helps. Just hit 'follow me' once again. If you're using the boots of speed you should use the slow speed setting so they can keep up with you. :)
 If all else fails, hit her with a paralize spell, then push her out of the cage, and kick her rotten ass until it hurts. Afterwords, go have a pint of skooma, and then go back and tell the quest giver that she's dead, and that, if she doesn't give you an easier quest you're going to kick her rotten ass too! :p
