FMs to be distributed exclusively through Eidos? (LOOK OUT! IT'S A PRANK!) - by Gingerbread Man

Ah, I see.

Well, this seems a little irritating. I do think everyone should hold off on deleting all their work at this stage - it's daft to just chuck it all away in a sort of knee-jerk reaction.

G-man, you really got me, you got me good, dang that was good for a few minutes there ;)

I really hate April fool's.... the ONLY funny joke is setting the clocks ahead (and then ONLY ahead, not backward), and that is it... If people have important news then they should leave it till april 2nd. I believe GBM to be intelligent enough to know this :grr:

You can't tell who's being serious or not, either. I can't even tell if I'm being serious, such is the level of confusion.

If this is an April Fool, someone's going to have to die. *Aims fire arrow at TTLG Admins*
If its not an April Fool, very many people are going to have to die. *Powers up Mechanist nuclear missile*
Surely Eidos wouldn't do this, after going to all the effort of releasing an editor in the first place? I mean, what harm could releasing FMs possibly do to them?

It's kind of sad, especially as I just last night got the water working. You could swim in it, the physics worked wonderfully (of course swimming worked only in the first person pov, the 3rd person pov animations aren't there, obviously), and I even got the sounds (bubbling, gasping for air, water splashing etc) from the originals to add to the mood...
That's an April Fool too, right?

No problem! If EIDOS is going to sell my FMs, they're going to have to pay me for them! Creative license.
Oh, wait. I live in Thailand! What are the chances they'll try to extridite me? I'll start a web page where I can host peoples FMs! Try and find me, suckers! :ebil:

Where do I get my honorary Thief level editor badge and complimentary pitchfork? :ebil:

My system has been hacked! I expect the hackers to release one of my levels in about five months for beta testing, and for public consumption a month after that. The wily bastards.
I kid, I kid.
Wouldn't this require them to hire some staff on to playtest T3 FMs? Or more likely, give someone the responsibility of eternally mailing out "not up to our standards" letters?
*Wonders if the people at illegal-art.org would like to host an FM or two*
*Wanders off to look at DarkMod website*

Eidos has the Editor, so they can make their own Fan-mission expansion-set. It will surely be named: "Thief - Deadlier Shadows"
