Teleporting out like that was just a way of ending the mission, since I couldn't get it to drop back to the main menu in a fashion I was happy with.
When I make some more levels I might make it teleport into them and have a mini-campaign going, but for now I just wanted to make it really clear you were done with that I had created.
And does the objective never show, or is it just when you use the loader? [I realise you might not have tried that, since it defeats the point of the loader, but so far no one else is reporting it missing]
Finally, how about the *.cdb files? I have a sinking suspicion of needing them so it knows what sound schema (if though there is non) to reference, but with the nnumerical names it's hard to tell.

If I remember correctly I forgot the *.cdb files when I was testing my package & none of the sounds I scripted was played. I also forgot the schema files. It's good to test.

I just played your FM and I must say it was some of the best fun I've had in 25 minutes from T3. The tension, the tactics, I was immersed immediately. I have the Minimalist project installed (because I'm an old-school taffer) version 1.41 on my regular (read non-editor) install, though I do have the editor installed on the same machine in a different place. All I did was back up my files then unzip as the read me file that came with the FM said I should. no trouble what-so-ever. I underestimated the guards on my first try and got killed on the second floor, but the second try I was more careful and made it through untouched, though I did almost get caught a few times (I would have been busted on strict ghosts rules but that's about it). I only found half the loot and am not sure what exactly I did to open the escape route (that shouldn't spoil anything I think, and it's true). what I find particularly promising is that it took the place of the first two missions on day one and put me in Garrett's house after I was done. I'm thinking distribute tweeks to the main city (goals and such I'm not a mapper as I don't have the time in my life to fool with it any more like I did back in the days of Dromed) and form a group of T3EDers and we can launch FM's straight from the city, geez it shouldn't be that hard now I think about it (I hope I'm right), oh the possibilities! Congrats not only on the first FM but the first mission to truly bring back the old Thief feel. minimalist helped the OM's feel right but I thought that only the forced ghosting in the library got close to the original Thief experience. but even that wasn't quite right (something to do with threat density I think). GREAT JOB!!
I missed the bottle and the barkeeps purse. I couldn't get into most of the rooms on the second floor because a guard was camping out in the hallway and I didn't have a way to distract him.
great fun thank you.

DarkDragon, quick question, did all your objectives show (while playing rather than before starting)? as I know you use GL? or was it just my install?
