That would be why people with the Minimalist project installed had no problem with the Townhouse FMs objectives.

For anyone who wants but still hasn't got this:

epithumia put it up for me with the other thief3 stuff so far.
Congratulations Ziemanskye!
I'm going to have a go at playing this tonight, do I need all those files at Jason's site too?
Also I would have thought the first ever T3 FM deserves a mention on the Fan Mission Forum :)

madwolf - if you've got the thief3 editor, you should only need the zip, since as posted elsewhere in this thread you need the editor's MainRelease version of T3Main.exe to get the extra objectives.
If you haven't got the editor, you might need this too:
(
http://rapidshare.de/files/2447384/t3MainExe.zip.html) http://rapidshare.de/files/2447384/t3MainExe.zip.html
Just backup the t3main.exe in the Thief../system folder, and rename the T3MainRelease.exe into it as T3Main.exe
You shouldn't need any of the other things over at thiefmissions.
Hope this works for you.

Ziemanskye,
I think I have a new problem, at least I can't find refererence to anything like it.
I've tried all the executables, including the editor. Basically, everything looks great leading up to actual play. I see all the objectives, everything looks like its supposed to.
When I enter gameplay, the video works until the guy right in front of you reaches forward (maybe 2-3 seconds). Then the video freezes! I hear guys walking around, and I can move (I guess), but I don't see anything but the frozen screen. The walking guy makes comments, I hear the random barks from the AI.
But my screen is frozen! Very weird. I can hit "Escape" and get back to the main menu and exit. But the video never updates after the first few seconds.
Regular Thief 3 runs just fine, in the same install (I just have a copy of the CONTENT folder for debugging). I've got a GeForce ti 4400, running the latest drivers (77.72) and Direct X 9.0c. No problems with any other game.
Any thoughts?

Sorry Gestalt,
When I read your post that's what I immediately thought. Unfortunately, I can find nothing in there but log files (of which none indicate any errors) and a couple of small XML files.
I'll keep trying to figure this out. I REALLY want to play the first T3 FM, I need inspiration to finish up my T2 missions.

Shadowspawn, don't mean to sound funny but do you have version 2 of the FM? version 1 did exactly the same to me whereas version 2 ran fine.

Shadowspawn I had a similar experience. I decided on a full reinstall... no wait I destroyed the entirety of the My Documents\Thief - Deadly Shadows folder. All configs were reset and fixed the problem. Harsh but effective.

Yes, V2. But I had tried V1 before, so maybe it left a rogue file somewhere.
Guess I'll start with a clean install. And remove my My Documents\Thief - Deadly Shadows folder. :nono:

When I had block writing enabled it left a lot of ibt files in the save games folder. This affected all of my installations of T3. All I had to do was delete those ibt files & all was good.
