Right, it's out :thumb: :
There are two versions - one on (
http://www.thiefmissions.com/thief3/demos/TDS_Townhouse_v2.zip) ThiefMissions, for people with the Thief: Deadly Shadows Editor downloaded. To run it, backup copies of everything in the zip file someplace safe and unzip over your Thief install (or use GarrettLoader or whatever, which'll do it for you), then it should run off of the New Game button on the main menu
*Note: If you are using two versions of thief (editor and game) then the game version needs one of the editor's t3MainReleaseVersion.exe or t3MainOptReleaseVersion.exe inplace of the normal t3Main.exe - copy and rename as you prefer.
The other one is on (
http://www.fileplanet.com/154676/150000/fileinfo/Thief:-Deadly-Shadows---Fan-Mission-Townhouse) Fileplanet, and is the easier to use version for those without the editor. Just unzip it straight over your thief3 install, and it can be run from the main menu's New Game button. To return to the normal game, unzip the ReturnToDefault the first unzip creates over your thief install - it'll return everything to how it should be for you, though it doesn't remove the files.
Either way the instructions ought to be in the readme, though where I put that (Thief: Deadly Shadows/Fan Mission Extras, I think) I'm not sure.
Good luck.

Way way back, I had a problem with my objectives appearing as blank (although they still worked). I had to make sure that the "allow schema changes=true" (or something like that) was in my user.ini. That fixed it for me. If you have that, sorry, don't think I can help.

So what you're saying is, your level is almost done? Sweet. I can't wait to play. :thumb:
I know this is a stupid question, but you have looked at the wiki for the objectives, right? I would suggest searching the forums... I remember seeing a few threads about that problem a while ago.
Ziemanskye on 10/6/2005 at 17:51
Already set the thing in the user.ini, and read everything I could find on the wiki and here...
Am going to try reinstalling now, see if it helps. Wish me luck.
But yes, other than this it's done. Though maybe not worth getting your hopes up over.
Edit:
BAH!
Reinstalled and it now works, and the Entry map is giving me the start mission screen (forgot to link the EnterMissionInfo and the DifficultyInfo), but it's still not my objectives.
Ziemanskye on 11/6/2005 at 13:28
Okay - one last push for what I need:
The objective is now showing up, the entry mission is behaving properly, I've finally got rid of the Inn's map, but the map name still doesn't show...?
And the ibt file for the level is 29.8Mb, though it stays there when zipped with the MainMenu(blah) and Kernel(Blah) files - I've never compiled an Entry map before this, but it seems to give us the MainMenu_ files.
Hopefully I get this finished, tested and hosted somewhere by monday for everyone - sorry for the delays!

Who's the Daddy? You.

I don't know if this is right (haven't gotten to that point), but just throwing anything out there to try and help: have you modified
\Books\English\String_Tags\Misc.sch
That shows zone names, so maybe that's what you're needing?
Ziemanskye on 11/6/2005 at 17:15
Thanks Sneaksie, but still not going. I feel I'm missing something criminally obvious - something isn't joining the dots I want it to and it's really starting to annoy me.

Is this the first TDS FM? Sweet. :thumb:
