Finally nice to be able to play this.
Nice design.
Needs some water arrows, unless I missed them somewhere.
Needs more loot, and the obvious, the objectives do not show.
Other than that, I have no complaints.
Good Job!
*On a side note, Garrett loader crashed after I tried to revert back to TDS, so I restarted it and tried to revert again and it seemed to work.(I should have kept track of the error)

does it have to be a straight up off the disc + patch install, or will stuff like John P.'s textures and minimalist work with it?
Ziemanskye on 11/8/2005 at 10:20
I have no idea if it's minimalist or John.P compatible - I have neither to test with. I don't think it should interfere with either, but I'm not sure the texture packs would have any effect anyway.
The GarrettLoader bug, well it's something to track and talk/post to potterr about, that's his thing not mine.
and the objectives ought to show up... I wonder what I've messed up this time. The loot isn't an objective, so that isn't meant to show - though there's about 1200 loot available, and I didn't like the "3 pieces of special loot per mission" rule, so not only am I not using it, I've hijacked the special loot counter for the diaries the mission is about.
No water arrows I'm afraid, mosty because the collision models of things kept stopping the water ever hitting the lights, so they wouldn't go out.
But it is reassuring to hear that you got it to work, after all these versions of it. :thumb:

I think I am starting to understand what the crashes are with reverting back or changing FM's for T3, it seems to be dependant upon the log files or an XML file created in the root fo the saves folder (rather than the saves/savegames folder). Having adjsted GL slightly to ignore log files and XML files it runs fine...now to test the FM itself.

Works well with the user.ini adjusted and straight from GarrettLoader version 1.11 (out in a few weeks).
Only thing I have found so far is that I went in the side entrance and found that the blacksmith person seemed to kill himself either on the furnace or a hammer.
So far, its a top effort :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
I'll carry on playing now... :cheeky:
EDIT: played through to the end, no problems whatseoever....although I only got 1025 (or 1027 can't remember now) loot. By the looks of it people have started to rate it already (

Good work.

Garrett Loader works (for me at least). Cool design and the projecting lights are pretty cool. Way to go, Ziemanskye! A lot of work went into this and it shows.

I know this is a bit daft (ok, a lot...), but I stood for about 2-3 minutes just opening and closing the door at the top end of the room with the 3 fountains. I love the way the projected shadow/texture moves as you open the door.
:erm:
potterr on 11/8/2005 at 18:09
GlasWolf, not that daft, I spent quite a few mins looking at various shadows and moving bits and simply the architecture itself...

AARGHH! MY whole installation is gone now. Trying to load any FM in GLoader is worthless and trying to play this FM by extracting it over the installation has left my installation screwed up. And even the reset to default doesn't help!
