I played all the way through UW and part of the way through UW2 with a strange bug. I can only fly or slide on the ice South or West not North or East. It makes it really a drag on the ice in UW2. I'm playing with the NT/XP patch. I've quit playing for a while, involved in Freelancer. Anybody else with this problem?

Strange problem there. I have just finished UW again and almost there with UW2, and I haven't encountered that before. I am just using dosbox ver .58, it has the occasional crash to desktop but I just save often. Maybe you should try it, you don't even need the patch.
