Necro-goodness
Thought I'd post the results of the search. I eventually found 2 lightweight figures from an Anime store that were too big to sit on the cake. So my brother and SIL decided to have them next to the cake cutting it.
The photos are just after we made the cake and the layers just temporarily posed for the picture, so it looks a little skew. It was perfectly straight after the support was put in.
And the rest of the wedding was traditional and gorgeous, with just this one geeky touch.
