I was testing my mission recently and I noticed that overclocking my CPU (Intel C2D) from 2,24 to 2,8 GHz let me play through the FM smoothly, with maximum framerate everywhere (otherwise it has some fps drops, unfortunately). Also some other T3FMs (e.g. The Keeper) ran better. So my suggestion for FM makers is to always put the system specs the FM was tested on in the readme, as a guideline.

I know nothing about other FMs but Savar's The Keeper had a very bad FPS before the last packing. I have doubled CPU and low FPS is not my usual problem. So while I packed The Keeper, I set MaxLightCount=25 and MinLightCount=25 (Level Properties -> ZoneInfo) and forced the game to increase performance. Nothing more. As far as I remember it's (

I was about to add some "might require a better system than needed for TDS" note as well. But for now I don't have a lot of serious FPS issues even in the larger areas.
