Hi,
I have found the chap who has the Flesh made Whole bauble for Mistress Drathala (or something like that). I can kill him to get it (only my using a paralysis ring on him 1st - I am level 10 and still finding combat rather hard), but is there a way of getting it without killing him?
Also, I can't dispose of the corpse - does that mean he was important for something else? Is this quest neccessary to advance in House Televanni? Can I maybe keep it because it's rather nice.

P.S. Managed to kill a Fire anatronach for the first time now I have this ring - although it resisted the paralysis, it didn't seem to hurt me as much as the one I fought at level 9 which completely kicked my ass.. ;-) Does that mean even though it wasn't stopped, it was slowed?

1) Kill him if you like; you might be able to pick-pocket him, but I think he's wearing the thing. He's not important to any Telvanni quests beyond the one you're on.
2) His corpse won't go away because the developers were being nice; just in case he died (for whatever reason), they wanted to make certain that his body wouldn't disappear and take the amulet with it. (Assuming one was daft enough to leave such an amulet lying around...)
3) I've no idea re: paralyze, I thought it was an all-or-nothing kind of spell.
Edit: Whoops, missed one of your ?'s... keep it if you like, I got archmagister w/out doing it.
