I just tried the demo for the first time. The first problem I have with it are the walking controls. I don't like using the arrow key and holding down the mouse button to walk. I wonder why it isn't possible to use only the mouse buttons to move?
The second problem i had was also with the graphics corruption like others have had. i have a Radeon 7200 card and Windows XP. I just down loaded the newest driver this morning. Still I get the corruption.
On the good side I really like the game. I thought the gamma was a bit too dark in the dungeon. I couldn't find any torches to light using the spell.
I can't wait to buy this game when it hits the American store shelves.

There are torches on the wall. There are also torches you can pick up. There's also the Night Vision spell, anything you can pick up turns dark blue. There are threads dealing with the gamma problem.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to playing the full game, too. :)

Hmmm....holding down the mouse button and using arrows?
You only need to use the arrowkeys apart from going into mouselook by right clicking once...or did I misunderstand you...?

I like using the mouse buttons for mouselook and walking. You never know where you need to look in this game. I have been spoiled by past games using the mouse only to both look around and walk. I just find this different to get used to again. I didn't mean to be so confusing in my first post. I hope I made myself clearer in tnis one. I use a Logitech track ball under my right hand. Hittting the arrow keys gets to be a annoying sometimes.

You can use your left hand on the W, S, A, and D keys for movement. This seems to be the defacto standard for first-person games.

Thanks for the information on the new walking keys. It does make it easier to play now. Although I still really like using only the mouse to do both walking and looking.

Pretty much every game allows you to overrid this be rebinding the functions to different games.
I usually look and aim with the mouse, and have the left hand at the cursor keys for movement (forward/backward/strafe left/strafe right). The mouse buttons arefor fire (left), zoom/alternate fire (right), jump middle, and I usually bind enter to Use and 0/einf to reload. This way you can operate 99% of the game without moving you hands at all, or in other words "blind" aka only looking at the screen.
