Would we be able to upload demo FMs there for testing purposes? It'd be nice to have a place where people could go just to go out an test a FM, and then email the author back with their comments and bugs they encountered.

Of course you can send stuff for testing, but plenty of experience has shown that open testing is a very poor idea so files in the testing area are hidden and the URLs should only be given to the chosen group of testers.

I have not too much free time now... Going to finish my T2 campaign.
I'll wait for some good tutorial(s) for T3Ed (go to work Komag ;) ). Besides, the 3DMax requirement for "static meshes" is not a good thing... I'll wait for plugin prepared for some free 3D modeller, I hope I won't be waiting forever :erg:
Anyway, I won't release any crappy mission built while learning T3Ed.
I've made such a "mission" while I was learning DromEd, but it's not worth releasing at TheCircle, I still keep it on my homepage :p

Glad to see things are coming along. I think that the community is patient.
epithumia is correct, open testing = very bad idea. I'll throw my hat in to beta or alpha any attempts you all have. I do not have the editor - so all the better, but have tested many missions. PM me if interested (of course, you'll have to tell how the heck to load it!). I can't build 'em but I do what I can to help bring them to light!

It's all about the free-flow-exchange of information..I mean look at all we've accomplished already. I think Good quality FMs are right around the corner (couple months)..but there is the breaking in phase we are in now to learn and teach and discover and to plan. I'm excited at what we can accomplish and I really hate to see Dromed fade out :tsktsk: because I sure as hell am going to miss that 'look & feel' of the originals. But that's evolution for ya. :nono:
Even though TDP-TMA-Dromed-FMs have a place of honor on my HD. :thumb:
