Browsing through the internet and along all the expected Half-Life 2 mods, I found this:
(

By the look, what the story is about, even the renders immediately reminded me of Deus Ex (in a way). One of the better things, however, is that this is a modification for Half-Life 2, and by the looks of the first two screenshots, it seems to be developing into something.

Nifty.

Looks interesting, maybe it'll turn out to be better than Deus Ex 2, which I guess would'nt be too difficult.
Regards.

Yeah, well, I believe that could be a possibility.

A little off-topic here, I know (apologies), but I have to ask:
Does HL2 require pixel-shading support like Invisible War does? (I was hoping to find an HL2 demo to test for myself, but I have yet to see one about).

I've seen a HL2 demo about. Just stick Half-Life 2 demo into Google or maybe Fileplanet have it.

It probably don't, as far as I can see. On my cover it says: 1.2 Ghz processor, 256 mb RAM, DirectX 7 level graphics card, along with internet connection and DVD-rom drive (this probably depends on wheter you live in Europe or in the US).

Looks promising.... with the setback that, being a HL2 mod, they probably won't be able to code any kind of upgrade/stats system in. Well at least I dont think they could.
There have been mods for Half-Life 1 that has been more developed and more stuff added to than I though possible. Ever heard of Natural Selection? You could build stuff there, the commander mode, and so on. Besides this, there have been released versions of older mods which have inventories and RPG-like gameplay - one of them being a "free MMORPG", so to speak.

Really? If so, it couldn't have been out for that long. But thanks, I'll take another look around.

Well if correct, that'll be good use. I lost my ability to play IW ever since my computer went in for a repair and they replaced my graphics card. Now I'm hoping pixel-shading support won't become commonplace in every game at any point in the near future.
