I'm guessing mine was Adventure for the 2600:

Don't remember if I ever completed Pitfall, always wanted to though.

I think it was Dragon Ninja on the C64.

The ending: you rescue someone (the president?) and he says "let's go for a burger. Ha ha ha ha." They don't make em like they used to.

I don't have a specific memory, but it was probably Ducktales on NES because that was easier than the two other games we owned, Super Marios 1 and 3.

I never could beat that game either. At the time I thought the goal was just to get from 1 side of the level back to it's looped (back around) beginning. I think the actual goal was to collect all the treasure like in the second game.

Mine was probably Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars on the SMS. Not the best Alex Kidd game, but definitely the weirdest.

I also had Cookie, but never finished that one.

Simpler times.

Mine was either States and Capitals or Star Raiders on the Atari 800, though difficult to recall if I ever reached the end of the latter game.

Yeah, pretty sure that's mine too. I think the arcade games at the time basically didn't have endings, a la Pacman.

I think The Goonies on my old 800XL might've been the first game I beat. It's possible I finished another beforehand, but it's the first that pops into my mind when I think back to those days.
