in this light, how do you fare with Word 2007?
Word 2007 is an abomination.

I quite like it.

Do you also like the fact that IE7 reversed the order of the options in the navigation tool bar, options that have become a standard and complete muscle memory to many people over the past decade? Whenever I try to go back, or stop a page of loading, I always have to do a double take to find out where all the controls when.

Twas a mare when I first got it. The new Powerpoint and Excel too.
But now I'm used to it I prefer it.
Not being the same as the old version is not, in itself, a sin.

Nope, but rude awakenings aren't always the best way to win over customers.

I'm using Firefox 3, but have no idea what this "awesome bar" is. What is it?

When you type something in the address bar, it matches it with previous page titles as well as the address. Apparently it learns, but I don't know exactly what.

My only real complaint so far is I hate to lose the GUI theme I've been using since forever ... at least until a version of it becomes 3.0 compatible.
The_Raven on 26/6/2008 at 13:18
Mmm, I've been looking for some good themes to replace the silly default one; I've settled on Kempelton 3.0 at the moment.

Graphic whores! No theme would ever be compatible with the 30+ extensions I need for my happiness. Besides it would only take away precious space. Form follows function!
