I'm having some problems with the Fire Shadow : I wanted it to behave like the one in TG but I can't make it spawn a fire arrow or speed up when attacked.
I think you have to edit the animation, and insert the name tag of the archetype in the animations, following the Abru's instructions: (

Ad this tag to its walking and running animations.

but I don't know anything about getting the actual Fire Shadow to respawn after being killed, which it needs to do otherwise it's only good for one arrow.
Anyone have a clue what to do?
Respawn means resurrect?

To speed it up you could try to alter the animation (speed?) multiplier or even the puppet frame skip if you want it to start jerking. I had some issues with haunts and both values - it either crashed or nothing happened - since I wanted to make them scarier as someone suggested but it might have been the two values changed which spoiled it. I've used script-altered animation whatever multipliers myself and they should work with any while-I'm-in-the-behaviour-state scripts or others.
For respawning you could have a look at the City maps but honestly I don't have a clue. I have another idea, though. According to the Cradle scripts the lights start flickering when they get in touch with a "Cold" stimulus and I think the puppets must emit this kind of stimulus one way or another. Thus your fire shadow might emit flame stimuli as well which could be used to re-light torches when he walks by. Might work. :erg:

The animation speed multiplier makes him run faster but it is not working with the script I made. I have used it to make AI faster but only when making new characters in the gamesys, not using scripts and for a limited time only. You don't need to alter any animations or PSA files at all.
I want him to either behave like the TG Fire Shadow or reappear (respawn) after dying but neither is working out.
Relighting extinguished torches is a cool idea but to make it worthwhile would require a total redesign of the area he is located in, Beleg.

Yeah.

Yeah.
Look the resurrect scripts of the zombies.
And yeah, you have to modify the PSA: it's the easiest way.

No, I spoke about PSA for spawning fire crystal to the ground. You need to link an emitter any tot frames of the animations.
